death - the next frontier

 A significant message of Genesis and exodus is that God uses death to deal with humans. Repeatedly God kills people or has people kill people. According to God, when Adam sinned he died in the same day. The most striking and terrifying example of death his Revelation 14. People die but are tormented for all of eternity. They don't ever cease to exist. People don't like hearing hellfire and damnation, but it is God's primary solution to dealing with people God doesn't like.
